This privacy policy tells you how we collect your personal data, how we store it, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. Some of our suppliers may provide AI features as part of the services they deliver to us.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where we use AI to process your personal data, whether through a dedicated AI tool or an AI feature within another service, we require suppliers acting on our behalf to process that data only on our documented instructions, keep it confidential and not use it to train or improve AI models for their own purposes. We are committed to using AI responsibly and in a way that protects your privacy and personal data.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-with-whom-we-share-your-personal-information-nbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>With whom we share your personal information<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Millboard does not sell your personal data and does not share it with external companies for those companies\u2019 own marketing purposes without your consent. We also share customers\u2019 personal information with third parties that we are asked to deal with on your behalf, for example builders, architects and our approved distributors, and with the delivery couriers we use to deliver products to you. We may on occasion share limited information with third-party review platforms to gather customer-experience feedback on Millboard and our products.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We shall keep your personal data within Millboard and our trusted third-party suppliers, except where disclosure is required by law, for example to government bodies and law enforcement agencies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We may share your personal data with Elmdene Group Ltd, which provides our administrative, order processing, accounting, marketing, surveying, manufacturing, distribution, installation, servicing, warranty management and other services.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where you have consented to receive marketing or service communications from us via WhatsApp or SMS, your contact details and message content are processed by the technology service providers who operate those channels on our behalf. These currently include Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, which operates the WhatsApp Business Platform, and HubSpot, Inc., which we use to manage customer communications and contact preferences. These providers act as our data processors and process your personal data only on our instructions and under a written data processing agreement. The commitments Millboard Inc has made, the scope of its certification and how you can raise a concern are set out in the section \u2018Millboard Inc and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework\u2019 below.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-millboard-inc-and-the-eu-u-s-data-privacy-framework-nbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Millboard Inc and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Millboard Inc complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF), as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Millboard Inc has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. Millboard Inc has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms of this privacy policy and the applicable DPF Principles, the DPF Principles shall govern.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Scope of our certification.<\/strong> Millboard Inc\u2019s certification covers non-HR personal information only. It does not cover personal information transferred from the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland in the context of an employment relationship.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Millboard Inc receives and processes personal information from the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland in connection with customers, prospective customers, distributors, suppliers and other business contacts. We take reasonable steps to limit the personal information we collect and use to what is relevant for those purposes, and to ensure that it is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete and current.
