Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Millboard is committed to making its website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and, for our European sites, to align with EN 301 549 as referenced by the European Accessibility Act.

This statement applies to the Millboard site for your region. Our sites are: United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, United States and Australia.

Conformance status

The website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that most of the content conforms, with the exceptions noted under “Content that is not fully accessible”.

What we have done

Tested every representative page template across all six locale sites with automated tooling (axe-core) and resolved the issues found.
Carried out manual assistive-technology testing — keyboard-only operation and screen-reader testing (NVDA and VoiceOver) — of the main journeys: home page, navigation and mega-menu, shop and product pages, checkout, and enquiry forms.
Gave every navigation landmark an accessible name, including in German and French.
Ensured content reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320px viewport (a 400% zoom equivalent).
Provided visible keyboard focus indicators site-wide, made controls keyboard-operable, and allow menus to be closed with the Escape key.
Verified text-contrast ratios, including text set over the hero film.
For the location finder, provided a full-size list of locations beside the map so the map can be used without relying on small overlapping markers.

Content that is not fully accessible

The following may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA:

Embedded third-party content. Some forms (HubSpot), the cookie-consent banner (CookieYes) and embedded video are provided by third parties. We apply accessibility corrections where we can, but we do not fully control their markup.
Areas not yet covered by full manual testing. Our manual assistive-technology testing has focused on the main journeys; other pages have been checked with automated tooling. We are extending manual coverage.
